Sometimes we tend to forget about the sugar in the beverages we drink. But it is very easy to get too much sugar from our drinks even though we are watching the sugar content and carbs in our food. If you are a diabetic or dieter who has to watch your sugar/carb intake but you love a good milkshake or cappuccino, do we have some recipes for you. Just the titles of these recipes are enough to send you scurrying to the kitchen to whip up a tasty treat. Look over these titles and find the easy recipe below. There's sure to be at least one that will become a favorite beverage of yours! Get ready to start lickin' your lips as these titles appear; Cappuccino Mix, Your Favorite Flavor Milk Shake for One, Strawberry Buttermilk Shake, and Banana Shake for Two.

CAPPUCCINO MIX

1 cup powdered non-dairy coffee creamer

1 cup instant chocolate sugar-free drink mix

1/2 cup Splenda

2/3 cup instant coffee granules

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight jar or canister. To use: Add 3 tbsp to 1 cup boiling hot water. Stir well. Can also be used to flavor coffee by add 1-2 tsp per cup of coffee.

NOTE: Check your instant chocolate drink milk for sugar content. Use sugar-free if available.

YOUR FAVORITE FLAVOR MILK SHAKE FOR ONE

1 cup 2% milk

2 tbsp sugar-free pudding mix, dry (flavor of your choice)

2 tbsp lite frozen whipped topping

8 ice cubes

Place all ingredients into blender cup and blend until smooth. Pour into a cold glass and enjoy.

STRAWBERRY BUTTERMILK SHAKE

1 1/2 cups fat-free milk

1/3 cup fresh strawberries OR sugar-free frozen berries

2 tbsp fresh squeezed orange juice

2 tbsp Splenda

1/2 cup fat-free buttermilk

In the container of a blender, combine milk, strawberries, orange juice, and Splenda. Process until the berries are pureed and the mix is frothy. Pour into a small pitcher. Stir in the buttermilk. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.

1 cup = 105 calories, 16 g carbs, 8 g protein

BANANA SHAKE FOR TWO

1 banana, sliced

1 cup fat-free milk

1 cup non-fat, low-sugar vanilla yogurt

1/4 cup unsweetened pineapple juice

1 tsp honey

Process all ingredients together in a blender. Pour into two cold glasses. Serve immediately. This recipe makes two servings for diabetics!

NOTE: This is also a good shake for anyone who has high blood pressure. This shake has 622 mg of potassium per serving and potassium is known to help reduce high blood pressure!.

If it is cold and frosty outside, there's nothing more beautiful than I read a nice big hot cup homemade chocolate. Why pay several dollars for a cup of gourmet chocolates when you can easily learn to make your own delicious hot chocolate drink to make?

You can use the classic creamy hot chocolate, or a little 'adventurous try the white chocolate or Mexican hot chocolate recipe. If you enjoy giving hot chocolate as a gift, then you might want to make your own hotMix the chocolate and place in decorative jars.

The following recipes can be made hot chocolate the old fashioned way, with a frying pan and a stove. Or maybe you want a hot chocolate maker, to acquire in order to speed things up.

How do you want, you will definitely enjoy the aroma and taste of delicious chocolate drink tickling your taste buds and tummy warming during the long winter days and nights.

Creamy Hot Chocolate

1 (14 ounce) can sweetenedCondensed milk (NOT evaporated milk)

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 ½ teaspoon vanilla more

1 / 8 teaspoon salt

6 ½ cups hot water

Marshmallows (optional)

Directions

In saucepan over medium heat, combine condensed milk, cocoa, salt, vanilla and sugar and mix well. Stir in water slowly. Heat through, stirring
occasionally. Do not boil. Top with marshmallows. Store in a covered
Refrigerator. * Will last up to 5Days.

Makes 8 servings.

Easy Mexican Hot Chocolate

3 tablespoons instant cocoa mix

1 tablespoon chocolate syrup

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 pinch of chili powder

¼ cup milk

¾ cup boiling water

Directions

In a large bowl, mix the hot chocolate mix, chocolate syrup, cinnamon and chili powder. Pour the milk. Add the type of boiling water and stir.

Makes 2 servings.

Spicy Hot Chocolate White

3¼ cups milk 2% fat

6 ounces white chocolate, chopped

1 egg, beaten

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

Place the white chocolate in a medium metal bowl over a pan of barely simmering
Water or in the upper half of a double boiler. Allow to melt the chocolate, stirring
occasionally until smooth. Stir in cayenne pepper and cinnamon. Whisk the egg
stir until smooth.

Gradually beat in a cup ofMilk until they are fully integrated, about 2 minutes.

Gradually whisk in remaining milk and heat until hot but not boiling. (It is not
I want a skin on top of the form of milk). Chocolate will be ready to drink when it is
the taste of the cayenne is masked by the temperature of the milk (the spiciness
the pepper will remain), or if the hot chocolate is at the desired temperature.

Ladle hot chocolate into cups and serve with a pinch ofCinnamon.

Zingy Mocha Hot Chocolate

½ cup semisweet chocolate chips

½ cup milk

1 pinch of hot chili powder

1 teaspoon instant coffee granules

½ cup cold milk

Marshmallows and chocolate sprinkles (optional)

Directions

Combine chocolate chips and milk in a glass or plastic bowl, microwave on high,
Stir every 20 or 30 seconds, until melted and smooth.Combine coffee, cinnamon and chili powder is hot, instant coffee until dissolved. Stir in cold milk.

The trunk in 2 cups. Thin with additional milk, if desired. Garnish with chocolate chips and marshmallows.
Makes 2 servings.

Peanut Buttercup Hot Chocolate

1 (1 ounce) envelope instant cocoa mix

2 teaspoons creamy peanut butter

Directions

In a bowl, prepare chocolate mix as directed on package. Stir in 1 or 2 teaspoons
PeanutButter. Enjoy.

Makes 1 serving.

Russian Hot Chocolate

1 oz vanilla vodka

¾ oz Amaretto liqueur

1 tablespoon instant cocoa mix

4 oz hot milk

Directions

In a cup of coffee in the vanilla vodka, pour amaretto, and add the hot
Chocolate mix. Pour in boiling milk and stir well to mix.

Contains: 1 chocolate mix recipe serving.Hot

11 cups of milk powder

1 (8 ounce) container powdered non-dairy powder

2½ cup powdered sugar

1 (16 oz) container instant chocolate mix

Directions

Sift together the powdered milk, no milk powder, powdered sugar and instant
Chocolate mix. Store in airtight containers or jars for gifts
